Data Deletion Request

AdLens respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what data will be removed, and what data must be retained for legal reasons.

This page also satisfies Meta’s requirement for apps using the Meta Login / Marketing API to provide a data deletion callback endpoint.

How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1 -Send a deletion request

Email us at support@getadlens.com from the email address associated with your AdLens account. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.

Step 2 -Identity verification

We will verify that the request comes from the account owner. We may ask you to confirm details about your account. This protects your data from unauthorized deletion requests.

Step 3 -Deletion within 30 days

Once your identity is confirmed, we will delete your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation email when complete.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account profile (name, email address)
  • All connected Meta Ads accounts and their OAuth access tokens
  • Autopilot settings and action logs
  • Weekly report settings and preferences
  • Any pending OAuth state associated with your account

Data We Must Retain

Certain data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal and financial obligations:

  • Billing and subscription records -retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations. These records contain your subscription plan, payment dates, and Stripe customer ID, but not your full card details (which Stripe holds, not us).
  • Server logs -retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention. These are automatically purged on a rolling basis.

After 7 years, billing records are also permanently deleted.

If You Connected via Meta Login

If you connected your Meta account to AdLens and later revoke access via Facebook’s app settings, your Meta OAuth token stored in AdLens becomes invalid. We will detect the revocation on the next use and remove the token automatically. You can also trigger deletion by emailing us as described above.

To revoke AdLens’ access to your Meta account directly through Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find AdLens and click Remove.
  3. Email us at support@getadlens.com to confirm deletion of all associated data in our systems.
